Visual design
This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. If your browser does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable. The layout is completely liquid, simply filling its window. It happily accommodates resizing text (see below) and, as relative units have been used, text can even be re-sized in Internet Explorer for Windows.
Sizing text
The Mslexia website is designed to let you change the text size for readability by using the text size function at the top right of the site. There are four size options: Default, +1, +2 and +3. You may also change the sizes by using access keys. Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the website.
On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press CTRL + an access key. The following access keys allow you to change text size:
Access key:
1 - SIZE +1
2 - SIZE +2
3 - SIZE +3
0 - DEFAULT SIZE
If you are having no luck changing size, it may be that your browser has its javascript turned off. For full functionality on this site and other websites, it is best to turn it on. Please help me with javascript.
If, however, you do not wish to or cannot turn on javascript, you can change text size using your browser's size controls. On Safari and Mozilla, you can use the keyboard controls CTR with +/- (Windows) or CMD with +/- (Macintosh). For Internet Explorer users, follow the instructions below.

- You must first disable style sheets. To do so, from the Menu Bar, select Tools and click Internet Options

Access keys
Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the website. The following access keys will help you navigate the site more easily. If you get completely lost or can't find the page you want, try access key s for the site map.
On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press CTRL + an access key. The following access keys allow you to change text size:

Printing pages from this website
The website has been designed to allow pages to be printed in a simple, printer-friendly layout. Pages won't look like the website, and they exclude images, which don't print very well and use up your ink. Most of the content has been made greyscale.
Printable forms - PDFs
There are a few printable forms on this site, in pdf (portable document format). If you do not have a PDF reader installed, it's a good idea to download and install one. There are also alternatives to this - read the PDF help guide.
